Welcome to our creative and fun FlyU Feiteng Summer Camp. There will be a different theme each week, enabling children to have a fulfilling and memorable time during this summer vacation. We'll organize a Field Trip every two weeks, taking the children out of the classroom to experience and feel the world firsthand, making learning more vivid and interesting. Additionally, we have arranged professional swimming courses for the children. Morning: Basic Chinese Course

The Chinese course has always been our ace program. Relying on the Chinese language textbooks used in primary schools in China, it has been redesigned according to the growth environment and learning needs of overseas Chinese students. It aims to help students establish a solid foundation in Chinese and improve their comprehensive abilities in listening, speaking, reading and writing. While solidifying basic language skills, it also enhances students' thinking development, cultivation of literary literacy, and cross-cultural understanding. Through interaction with other children, students' teamwork and communication skills will be cultivated, making the Chinese learning experience enjoyable and fulfilling.

Afternoon: Featured Chinese Course

Explain the meanings and origins of Chinese idioms to enhance students' language comprehension ability and cultural awareness. Teach common proverbs, explain their meanings and usage. For example, "There is a path to the mountain of books only through diligence, and there is no end to the sea of learning except through hardship." Guide children to understand and apply proverbs, and cultivate their language expression ability and way of thinking. Let students learn about authentic Chinese culture, including traditional Chinese festivals, folk customs, local conditions and customs, etc.

It aims to provide students with a comprehensive and in-depth mathematics learning experience. Through flexible teaching methods and rich teaching resources, it covers all aspects of mathematics learning. From the mastery of basic concepts to the solution of advanced problems, we focus on cultivating students' mathematical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and practical skills in applying mathematics.

The curriculum is divided into three stages:

1. Basic Course (Level 1): It focuses on the most fundamental mathematical concepts. By identifying students' weaknesses in basic mathematics, it fills in the gaps to prevent long-term problems and make up for the deficiencies in their school mathematics learning.

2. Interest Course (Level 2): It adds important learning contents that are lacking in the teaching of ordinary schools. While consolidating basic skills training, it moderately incorporates advanced training to further cultivate students' mathematical thinking and interest.

3. Competition Training Course (Level X): It provides specialized training courses for students who are interested in participating in mathematics competitions.

1.Students whose mother tongue is English

We focus on improving students' writing and reading abilities. Through carefully designed curriculum content, we aim to stimulate students' interest in literature and creative writing. The reading materials include classic literature, contemporary novels, and other diverse texts to cultivate students' reading comprehension and analytical skills. In terms of writing, we will pay attention to the cultivation of students' expressive abilities, creative thinking, and writing styles, enabling them to express their thoughts freely in different contexts.

2.Students who have just arrived in the United States

This is designed to help students who have just come to the United States and are not yet familiar with the English environment quickly adapt to the English teaching in schools. The curriculum content will cover daily oral expressions, basic vocabulary, and communication skills in common scenarios. Through practical situation simulations and language practices, the curriculum helps students better understand and apply English. In addition, we also pay attention to cultural differences to enable students to better integrate into American schools and society.

Both parts of the English courses adopt small-class teaching to ensure that every student can receive sufficient attention and personalized guidance. Our goal is to provide students with comprehensive and systematic English learning support, enabling them to use English confidently in both academic and social situations.

The coaching team led by Fei shi fu will give the lessons. They come from renowned lineages and are highly experienced. They are familiar with both traditional Chinese kung fu and modern martial arts, and have over 20 years of teaching experience in the United States. They have trained many national-level athletes. Children will personally experience the great charm of martial arts and the profound cultural heritage behind it. Through learning kung fu, students will have a deeper understanding of the cultural connotations of Chinese martial arts and cultivate respect and understanding for traditional culture. The school has rich resources for competitions and performances in the Bay Area, and all students will have the opportunity to participate in large-scale national performances.

Basic Kung Fu:

Practice of basic skills, such as bending over, stretching the legs, taking a horse stance, strength training, etc. Conduct simple basic technique exercises, like leg kicks, boxing techniques, striking movements, etc. Learn fundamental kung fu routines and boxing styles, such as the Five-Step Fist, Cha Quan, and the Small Dagger Fist .

Kung Fu Performances:

Learn the basic movements of kung fu performances such as dragon and lion dances, including the use of special props like lion heads, lion tails, dragon belts, etc. At the same time, students will also learn the accompanying music, that is, how to play traditional musical instruments such as big drums and cymbals. They will also learn how to synchronize their movements with the music. Moreover, students may have the opportunity to participate in performances during festive celebrations or other special occasions.

We cooperate with a swimming school founded by a former world champion. There is an indoor heated swimming pool with Junior Olympic-sized lanes. Thanks to the computer-controlled and automated chlorine-based chemical system, the water in the pool is kept clean, safe and comfortable. Experienced on-site staff will monitor the situation. There are several security personnel in the swimming venue to ensure that all students can learn in a safe and enjoyable environment.

Classes are conducted in small groups, with no more than 4 students per class. The course lasts for three consecutive weeks to ensure the quality of teaching.

The courses are graded according to children's swimming levels to ensure that every student can learn in an environment that suits their own level.

After lunch every day, we will use a dedicated vehicle to take the children to a nearby park for outdoor activities. The park is equipped with various physical fitness and recreational facilities, as well as a baseball field, a basketball court and a football field. What's more, it's a rather secluded place, and you can hardly see other people there. It's the secret base of FlyU Feiteng. At the same time, for the safety of the children, we have prepared sun hats, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, ice packs and first aid kits. Both safety and enjoyment are essential. The children can skip ropes, chase butterflies, and play hide-and-seek; they can also observe the sky, flowers, plants and even owls. After returning to school, they can enjoy some ice-cold watermelons. What could be more wonderful than such a summer。

Taught by professional teachers, students will learn and train various physical abilities and techniques, including stretching and core strength exercises. Students will also learn a variety of techniques, such as cartwheels, front handsprings, back handsprings, front flips, side flips, etc. Taking into account the individual differences of students, the courses will be customized according to each student's level and needs to ensure that every student receives safe attention and guidance. Through this course, students will engage in training including aerobic exercise training, strength training, sensitivity and reaction training, flexibility training, coordination training, posture and gesture training, tumbling movements, and competitive games. Through these training contents, students' physical fitness will be comprehensively improved, and their physical and mental health will be promoted.

During this week, the teacher will lead the students to use a different painting tool every day, such as crayons, colored pencils, watercolor pens, oil pastels, chalks, etc. Different painting tools can provide various ways of expression and creation, thus stimulating children's imagination and creativity. During the outdoor lunch break this week, the teacher will also take the students for outdoor sketching. By having direct contact with nature, their powers of observation and concentration will be cultivated. Through observing details, they can capture the beauty and changes of the surrounding environment.

Learning and appreciation of traditional Chinese painting, calligraphy, Jinhuidui, fan painting, the Four Treasures of the Study , and traditional musical instruments (such as clappers, erhu, etc.).

Through the understanding and application of traditional pigments, students' aesthetic standards in art appreciation and creation can be enhanced. Such courses aim to enable students to have a comprehensive understanding and experience of traditional Chinese art. Through practical activities, their love for traditional culture can be cultivated, thus boosting their cultural pride.

The chess classes will be grouped according to the students' ages and levels. The main course contents include:

1.Introduction to Basic Knowledge: Introduce the basic knowledge of chess, including the layout of the chessboard and chess pieces, and the moving methods of each chess piece, etc.

2.Rule Explanation: Explain the rules of chess in detail, including how to move each chess piece, and special rules such as giving check, checkmate and capturing pieces, etc. This part is usually carried out through demonstrations and practical operations.

3.Strategies and Tactics: Once students are familiar with the basic rules, the course will focus on introducing the strategies and tactics of chess. This may include basic tactics such as how to control the center of the board, develop pieces, and protect the king, as well as some common opening strategies and position conversion strategies.

4.Practical Exercises: Students will conduct practical exercises in class, playing against other students or the teacher. This helps them apply the knowledge they have learned to actual games and improve their chess-playing skills.

In general, the chess course aims to help students master the basic skills of chess and gradually improve their levels and competitive abilities by teaching basic knowledge, explaining rules, providing strategic guidance and arranging practical exercises.

Good poems and ci-poems are just like beautiful ballads, full of rhythm and catchy. Through just a few words, they can sketch out wonderful pictures and convey deep emotions. As an old saying goes, "If one reads three hundred Tang poems thoroughly, one can intone poems even without learning how to compose them." Teachers will select classic Tang poems, Song ci-poems, Yuan qu-poems and so on, enabling children to appreciate and understand the beauty of the elegant language, thus stimulating their enthusiasm for learning Chinese.

This is a course designed to cultivate students' mathematical thinking abilities. Through vivid and interesting methods, it helps children establish a solid mathematical foundation and enhances their logical reasoning, spatial imagination, and problem-solving abilities.

The coaching team members all come from professional clubs. They are full of enthusiasm and are committed to inspiring students' love for football. The courses cover a wide range of football topics, including basic technical training, tactical strategies, teamwork, etc. We encourage students to develop comprehensively on the football field, enabling them to showcase their individual skills and integrate into the team, thus experiencing the joy of football. Through interesting training activities and professional guidance, we hope that every student can cultivate a strong interest in football in a relaxed atmosphere.

This course is mainly divided into two parts: Basic Music Theory for Children and Small-group Chorus Training.

In the Basic Music Theory section, children will conduct basic vocalization exercises, get to know fundamental musical symbols. Through methods such as imitation, listening practice, and rhythm exercises, it helps children master the basic concepts of pitch accuracy and rhythm.

In the Small-group Chorus part, by learning various pieces of music, children will be assisted in mastering the correct singing methods, improving their singing skills, aesthetic abilities, and stage performance capabilities.

The chorus provides children with opportunities for mutual communication, sharing, and cooperation. It cultivates their initial spirit of division of labor and cooperation in society, teaching them to coordinate and cooperate with others in a group, adapt to one another, and develop a sense of collectivism and teamwork spirit.

This is an educational center dedicated to astronomy and space science. Equipped with high-performance astronomical telescopes, an immersive planetarium, NASA mission simulation experiences, and interactive scientific experiments, it enables children to personally explore the mysteries of the universe. They will have the opportunity to observe the starry sky, learn about planetary exploration, and experience astronaut missions, which will stimulate their interest in science and space, adding a wonderful exploratory experience to their learning journey.

This is a comprehensive museum with a wide range of exhibits, including the Vintage Car Exhibition Hall, the Old West Spirit Exhibition Hall, the China Exhibition Hall, and the Natural World Exhibition Hall. The museum's collection is truly wonderful. One of the most extraordinary collections in the museum is a Chinese Hongqi car, which is the first car made in China to be imported into the United States. I believe children will have a great time here and be reluctant to leave.

The Lawrence Hall of Science is a science museum and educational center of the University of California, Berkeley. It is located on a hill in the Berkeley Hills, overlooking the entire Bay Area and offering magnificent views of the sunset. The exhibitions in the hall cover multiple scientific fields such as physics, astronomy, earth science, and biology, making it suitable for children of all ages to participate in and learn. Through a wealth of scientific exhibitions, educational programs, and activities, the hall stimulates students' interest in science and cultivates the scientific thinking and creativity of the younger generation. These exhibitions usually adopt an interactive design to attract children to participate and learn.

It is located in San Mateo County, California, within the Coyote Point Recreation Area. It features an interactive science playground that showcases exhibitions covering various scientific fields. There is also a small zoo presenting local and African animals. Children can participate in activities such as experiments and explorations here, and observe wild animals up close. It aims to cultivate their scientific and environmental awareness while satisfying their curiosity.
